CHARLES D. KING

Charles D. King, 93, of Hickman died Nov. 19, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.

He was a retired foreman with the Kentucky State Road Department. After his retirement he was a self-employed farmer on his land. Mr. “Charlie D” was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Nov. 22, at the Hickman City Cemetery, with Bro. Tom Quimby.

“Charlie D” is survived by his son, David (Denise) King of Kiln, MS; daughter, Dee Anne (Trent Wilson) King of Ruskin, FL; five grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred King, parents, Harry and Bessie King; one brother, James Austin King; and sister, Anna Lynn Cole.
