Good evening Pilot Families:

The safety of our students and staff is our number one priority when making decisions. After reports from meteorologists at the National Weather Service out of Paducah, Kentucky of a possible ice storm, Fulton County Schools have decided to take all safety precautions.

Tonight's basketball games have been canceled and Wednesday through Friday will be Non-Traditional Instructional Days (NTI). Teachers have prepared assignments for your child to complete. Our Culinary Department has prepared and sent home extra meals Also, Monday, February 15th will be a NO SCHOOL day as it was already listed on the school calendar.

Fulton County Schools will make decisions on closings as many hours in advance as possible, in consideration of families who need time to make proper arrangements. The decision will be made the night before, or not later than 5:00 a.m. on the morning of a closing or delay.

Fulton County schools will continue to communicate school closing information through our one-call system, email, social media, and WPSD Snowman 6 weather alert.

Pilots, please stay safe and warm as we prevail through Ice Storm 2021. Proficiency, Positive Relationships, and Pilot Pride
