AREA OBITUARIES CHARLOTTE ROSE JONES

Charlotte Rose “Shocky” Jones of Hickman, KY died at her residence on Friday, February 19, 2021.

Charlotte was born in Hickman, KY on September 11, 1933 to the late Raymond and Marie Jones.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin and Mack Jones and sisters, Trulah Grissom, Gertrude Walker, Mildred Hindman, Alice Richardson and Erma Rowland.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews and special friends plus her beloved fur babies, Nasty Pot and Little Girl.

Shocky was a member of the St. Paul Episcopal Church. She had worked at the former Lear Siegler plant, retired from the former Goodyear tire plant and had been employed by the Hickman Post Office as a rural mail carrier for several years prior and enjoying her hobby of fishing. Shocky loved fishing and continued to fish until her health declined.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 22 nd at Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Sipes officiating. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery. Friends may call at Strong Funeral Home on Monday, February 22nd from 11:30 AM until service time.

Pallbearers will be: Joe Turbyville, Cole Turbyville, Nick Turbyville, John Rowland, Chet Rowland and Richard Jones.
