Girl Scout Cookies are Here!

All across Kentuckiana cookies are being delivered to local troops who are eager to get

customers their favorite cookies. The lineup includes Samoas, Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Do-si-

dos, Trefoils and Lemon-Ups for $5 a box and Toffee-tastic (gluten free) and S’mores for $6 a

box. All proceeds of the Girl Scout Cookie Program stay local to help support girl programming

and troops in our community. Girls decide how to allocate their portion of the earnings for

community projects, leadership opportunities and exciting experiences.

National Cookie Finder

The new National Cookie finder makes it even easier for customers to connect with local Girl

Scouts. Customers can visit www.girlscoutcookies.org. Then they type in their zip code to

connect with nearby troops where cookies can be purchased for direct shipment or donation.

And through the end of February, shipping is $10 off when 12 or more boxes of cookies are

purchased!

The website can also be used to find troops that are selling at booths nearby. We are keeping

girls safe by pivoting from traditional booths at stores to drive thru booths and other creative

options that utilize social distancing, mask wearing and contactless payments. Booths will run

from February 26-March 21.

Local Drive Thru Booths

Center, KY

February 27 and March 6 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Cape Electric, 2860 Lone Oak Rd,

Grubhub Partnership

This year Girl Scouts has launched a national collaboration with food ordering and delivery

platform Grubhub, so girls have an additional way to facilitate contact-free cookie orders. In

Louisville, Paducah, Elizabethtown and Bowling Green customers can order Girl Scout Cookies

for pickup or delivery on Grubhub.com or the Grubhub app. A hands-on experience in managing

e-commerce, local Girl Scouts will track and fulfill orders, manage inventory, and more, all using

Grubhub’s back-end technology. This method will be available February 22-March 20 with times

varying by location. From February 22-28, all Grubhub Girl Scout Cookie orders will include a

complimentary box of cookies!

As always, the proceeds benefit the troop and council while providing another innovative way to

safely run the cookie program virtually. Grubhub is waiving all fees for the organization to make

this new delivery option feasible for sales without reducing troops’ and council proceeds.

About Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana

Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana is a member of the Girl Scouts USA organization and includes

10,000 girl and adult members in 64 counties in western Kentucky and southern Indiana.

Nationally, we are over 2.5 million strong—1.7 million girls and 750,000 adults who believe in

the power of every G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader) TM to change the world.

Our extraordinary journey began more than 100 years ago with the original G.I.R.L., Juliette

Gordon “Daisy” Low. On March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia, she organized the very first

Girl Scout troop, and every year since, we’ve honored her vision and legacy, building girls of

courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. We’re the preeminent

leadership development organization for girls. And with programs from coast to coast and

across the globe, Girl Scouts offers every girl a chance to practice a lifetime of leadership,

adventure and success. To volunteer, reconnect, donate or join visit www.gskentuckiana.org.
