DPA live drone demonstrations April 10

At Discovery Park of America in Union City, Tenn., representatives from Farmspace Systems will offer live drone demonstrations April 10 at 11:30 a.m., 1 and 2 p.m. at STEM Landing for April STEAM Saturday. During the demonstrations, you will learn about the latest innovations in drone technology. After stopping by one of the programs, be sure to check out the drones on display in the permanent exhibit “AgriCulture: Innovating for Our Survival.”

The Military History and Armed Forces Symposium is scheduled for April 23-25, and all active military personnel and veterans will receive free general admission to Discovery Park during the three-day event. Programs will feature a variety of interactive activities that explore the past, present and future of the American military.

Members of Discovery Park are in for a treat April 23. All active members are invited to join us from 5 to 7 p.m. for a members-only reception in Military Gallery. There will be hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and live music. Members can talk with guest speakers from the weekend and listen to gallery talks with Discovery Park educators. Memberships will be checked at the door.
