All Southbound Lanes are Open on Purchase Parkway at RR Overpass Work Zone in Fulton

RR overpass deck repair completed

PADUCAH, Ky. (June 4, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has removed a southbound work zone lane restriction on the Purchase Parkway at mile point 1.81 in Fulton County.

This work zone was removed at approximately 8 a.m., CDT, after concrete used to repair the deck of the CN Railroad Overpass had cured. The repair allows normal traffic flow at the site. A project that includes a bridge deck overlay and deck maintenance is expected to be scheduled later this year.

Both southbound lanes of the Purchase Parkway are now open at this site
