Current Events (June 9)
Marshall Alexander Post 72 American Legion and Auxiliary will have their June meeting on Tues., June 15, at 6 p.m. at the Carr Street Community Center in Fulton. The meal will be provided by the Legion; members do not need to bring any food. The meal will be followed by a short meeting of both the Legion and Auxiliary. This is the last meeting until September, and all members are urged to attend.
The Ken-Tenn Foodbank, 212 Carr St., Fulton, will distribute commodities to Fulton County Seniors, CSFP, living in poverty, will be held June 18 from 9-12 noon. Distribution to Fulton County households living in poverty, TEFAP, will be June 25 from 9 – 11 a.m.
The First United Methodist Church, 200 Carr St., Fulton, hosts Celebrate Recovery each Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is served, worship and small groups are available.
S.O.S. Senior Night Out
Smiles On Seniors, S.O.S. Senior Night Out will once again resume meeting for dinner each second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at ElVallarta Mexican Restaurant, on Middle Road in Fulton. All seniors age 55 and older are invited to attend the dutch treat meal.
