Donations Requested

Enon Cemetery, located at the intersection of Highways 307 and 94 in Hickman County, needs donations for mowing expenses. To contribute, send a donation in care of Catherine Foy, 1200 Brookwood Circle, Fulton, Ky. 42041.

Board of Health Meeting

The Fulton County Board of Health will meet July 30, at 7 a.m., at the Fulton City Health Department.

HRTCC Meeting

Hickman Recreation Tourism Convention Commission (HRTCC) meets the third Wednesday of the month at Hickman City Hall, at 5 p.m. The next meeting will be July 21 and they are currently planning events for the Pecan Festival tentatively scheduled for Oct. 19 - 23. The public is invited to attend.

Homecoming

David’s Chapel Baptist Church, 172 State Route 925, Hickman, will have Homecoming July 25. Bro. Charles Southerland will be the evangelist with local singers. Sunday school will be at 10 a.m., followed by church service at 11 a.m., dinner from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m., and closing the day will be singing beginning at 1:30 p.m. Those who are unable to be present for the Church service are invited to attend, for fellowship dinner and singing. The public is invited.

Senior Book Club

Senior Book Club meets the fourth Monday of each month at Fulton Public Library, Main Street in Fulton, at 1 p.m. Books are provided to seniors age 55 and older, to read and discuss at the following month’s meeting.

Foodbank Dates

The Ken-Tenn Foodbank, 211 Carr St., Fulton, will distribute commodities to Fulton County households living in poverty, TEFAP, will be July 23 from 9 – 11 a.m.

FUMC Celebrate Recovery

The First United Methodist Church, 200 Carr St., Fulton, hosts Celebrate Recovery each Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is served, worship and small groups are available.
