Patience requested for FCTA limited staff

According to Fulton County Transit Authority Executive Director Kenney Etherton, FCTA has begun to experience an increase in call volume, while simultaneously operating with a limited staff.

“We are doing everything we can to hire more drivers. Our goal is to serve everyone as quickly and efficiently as possible,” Etherton said, adding FCTA wants all riders to have a pleasurable experience when using the service.

“We ask the public to please be patient with us,” Etherton said.

The FCTA at this time, continues to operate with a low driver pool, related to Covid, as well as make every attempt to cover schedules during the summer vacation months.
