AREA OBITUARIES – ANGELA JACKSON SPRAGGS

Angela Jackson Spraggs, 58, of Paducah, Ky., and formerly of this area, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

She was born on February 8, 1963 in Fulton, Ky., to the late J.C. and Betty Vaughn Jackson.

Angela was a member of Olivent Baptist Church in Paducah and was Registar for 20 years at Lourdes Hospital. She lived all of her life in this area.

She is survived by her daughters, Leslie Spraggs and Stephanie Spraggs, both of Paducah; four grandchildren, Madison Fields, Hunter Fields, Jaden Spraggs, and Ariel Devary, all of Paducah; three sisters, Kathy Fuller of Water Valley, Ky., Debbie (John) Gardner of Union City, Tenn., and Donna Robinson of Lewisville, Texas; a brother, John Jackson of Union City; eleven nieces and three nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a nephew, Brian Scott Polsgrove, and a brother-in-law, Joe Fuller.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sept. 4 at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, in Fulton, with burial following in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Saturday until the hour of service.
