BANANA FESTIVAL TIME IN THE TWIN CITIES!

Notice anything unusual? Out of the ordinary? Like...for instance...a giant circus tent? Dozens of food trucks and merchandise vendors? Lots of yellow and green flags, balloons...and oh! BANANAS??????? Then it must be time for the 2021 Banana Festival here in the Twin Cities of Fulton, Ky. and South Fulton, Tenn. Come on downtown! Thursday, Sept. 16, the Kiddie Parade is at 6:30 p.m. and at 7, see and hear some great local talent at "Fulton's Got Talent." While you're here, visit the Pontotoc Community Center, in the heart of Pontotoc Park, for some great Banana Festival merchandise, and view the amazing entries in this year's Banana Festival Photo Contest! On Friday, Sept. 17, from 9-11 a.m. at Fulton's First Baptist Church, visit the free Health Fair, and at 5 p.m., the CIRCUS presents their first incredible show, in the big tent across from the Keg on Lake Street. Another Circus show is at 8 p.m.! Then, relax to some great music from Olivia Faye Band and Aftermath, beginning at 7 p.m. on South Fulton's Unity Park stage.
