DOGGY PAGEANT WINNERS FROM THE BANANA FESTIVAL SEPT. 18

Event Chair Darcy Linn has confirmed this year's number of entries for the Banana Festival Doggy Pageant, held on Sept. 18, has been the highest number of entries received for the pageant thus far.

Best of Show was awarded to Izzy, escorted by Kayla Hutcheson.

Winners announced Saturday from the Pontotoc Park stage for the pageant, emceed by Anthony Constant, included Talent category, first place, Issy, escorted by Kayla Hutcheson; second place, Rome, escorted by Tara Holzner; and Asa Ray, third place, escorted by Julie Sturgeon.

In the Attire division, Tucker, escorted by Jaclyn Cook won first place, Astro, escorted by Dana Fredrick, won second place and third place was awarded to Moxy, excorted by Julia Schutte.

In the category for Beauty, first place was earned by Meg, excorted by Rayne Sills, second place, Ida Clayton, escorted by Nathan tyne and third place, Lulu, escorted by Alisha Moore.
