Lady Pilots secure two more wins

The Fulton County High School Lady Pilots’ volleyball game hosted four games during their final week of school before Fall Break begin Oct. 1, and were able to pick up two wins to improve their overall record to 7-15, and 1-6 in district play.

Fulton Co. 2

Humboldt 0

The Lady Pilots took the second game of the doubleheader in two sets (25-13, 25-9) to get their seventh win of the season.

11 kills were recorded by the Lady Pilots, with Hannah Emmons leading the way with five, followed by Amanda Newton and Kylee Harrison with two each. Aubrey Allison and Abigail Emmons also had one each.

Abigail Emmons had four of the Lady Pilots eight assist, followed by Harrison with two, and Allison and Hannah Emmons with one each.

Hannah Emmons and Newton each had five service aces, followed by Fairyn Thomas and Harrison with one each.

Fulton Co. 2

Humboldt 0

The Lady Pilots defeated the Lady ? in the first game of a doubleheader Sept. 30 in two sets (25-20, 25-6).

Hannah Emmons had a team-high seven kills, while Abigail Emmons had four, Aubrey Allison two, and Fairyn Thomas, Amanda Newto and Kylee Harrison with one each.

Seven assists were recorded, as Abigail Emmons had six and Hannah Emmons with one.

Harrison led the Lady Pilots with six of their 14 service aces, followed by Allison with four, Tomas with three, and Newton with one.

Westview 3

Fulton Co. 0

The Lady Pilots were able to pick up a win in the third set but ultimately succumbed to the Lady Chargers in four sets (18-25, 13-25, 25-18, 17-25) Sept. 28 at home.

The Lady Pilots recorded a season-high (?) 21 kills, with Hannah Emmons leading the way with 11. Also recording kills were Aubrey Allison with four, Abigail Emmons with three, and Fairyn Thomas, Amanda Newton and Kylee Harrison with one each.

10 assists were tallied by the Lady Pilots, with Abigail Emmons leading the way with six, followed by Harrison with two, and Hannah Emmons and Thomas with one each.

Four digs were recorded, as Allison had two and Harrison and Hannah Emmons had one each.

The Lady Pilots tallied nine assists, with Hannah Emmons having a team-high four, followed by Abigail Emmons and Thomas with two each, and Harrison with one.

Obion Co. Central 3

Fulton Co. 0

The Lady Pilots hosted the Lady Rebels Sept. 27 and lost in three sets (22-25, 21-25, 13-25).

Hannah Emmons and Aubrey Allison led the team with two kills each, as Kylee Harrison, Abigail Emmons and Fairyn Thomas had one each.

The Lady Pilots were able to record five blocks, with Hannah Emmons with two, and Harrison, Abigail Emmons and Allison with one each.

Abigail Emmons had two assists, while Harrison had one assist.

Harrison recorded five of the Lady Pilots’ 11 service aces, as Amanda Newton and Allison each had two, and Thomas and Hannah Emmons each had one.

The Lady Pilots will return to the volleyball court on the road Oct. 11 at Murray and then will conclude the regular season at Mayfield Oct. 14.
