SFES IN SPIRIT OF GIVING

November 22, 2021

South Fulton Elementary School students have gone above and beyond recently, collecting more than 2,845 non-perishable food items and 66 Operation Christmas Child boxes. Twin Cities Care Ministry will be the beneficiary of the food items collected, with Beta Club students having spent the past few weeks collecting, counting, and boxing food each morning, as well as collecting shoeboxes. The school has expressed appreciation to all who participated and shared in the spirit of giving as the holiday season approaches. Congratulations were also extended to the homerooms earning the honors of being in the Top 3 Food Drive collectors:, 1st Place, Moranda Johns' 5th grade - 664 items; 2nd Place, Mrs. Destinee’s 3rd grade - 222 items; and 3rd Place - Mrs. Areli’s 2nd grade - 153 items.
