AREA OBITUARIES -- MILDRED C. HARRISON

Mrs. Mildred C. Harrison, age 96, of Fulton, Ky. passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at her residence.

She was born on August 15, 1925 in Moscow, Ky. to the late Tee Roy and Ida May Allen Ferguson.

Mrs. Harrison was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.and was sales clerk for the former R and L

Department Store in Gary, Ind. She lived in Gary, from 1956 until 1985, then returning to Fulton, and was

an avid bowler.

She is survived two daughters, Janet Adams of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Margaret Toombs of Fulton;

a son John Michael Harrison of Dresden, Tenn., 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 11 great-

great-Grandchildren; a sister, Doris Harrison of Fulton, two brothers: Gaylon Ferguson of Memphis, Tenn. and

James Allen Ferguson of Hoboken, Ga.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Ardell Harrison, a daughter, Rita Shelton,

a son William Ardell Harrison, four sisters: Helen Campbell. Reba Stoker, Evelyn Sue Ferguson and Alla Mae Guill and four brothers: Elvis Ferguson, Clifton Ferguson, Willard Ferguson and Homer Ferguson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in the funeral chapel of Hornbeak Funeral Home of Fulton with burial to follow in the Brownsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Monday, January 10.
