AREA OBITUARIES -- SUE "LULU" DOUGLAS

Sue "LuLu" Douglas of Water Valley, Ky. passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Ky.

Sue was born in Fulton, Ky.. on October 14, 1946 to the late Cecil “Jack” Hogg and Mary Lou Harrison Hogg.

She was a retired beautician and had worked at Headquarters Styling Salon in South Fulton for many years.

She was of the Christian faith and had lived in the area all of her life.

Sue is survived by her husband, David Douglas of Water Valley, Ky., to whom she was married February 11, 1984; her daughters, Robyn Richards (Troy) of Wingo, Ky., and Lucretia McCallon Colley (Jimmy) of Mayfield, Ky.; her sons, Brian Bolton of Fulton, Ky., and Sonny Bolton of Water Valley; eight grandchildren, Lauren Pruiett of Wingo, Cory Pickens (Kaitlyn) of Mayfield, Spenser Pruiett (Jamie) of Water Valley, Levi Pruiett (Bibi) of Paducah, Skylar Lofton of Mayfield, Lake Lofton of Mayfield, Alex Colley (Savannah) of Symsonia, and Eugene Colley (Chelsea) of Mayfield; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Kim Copeland (David) of Brighton, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild, Darren Price, and two brothers, Cecil Hogg and Jim McClanahan.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 1 p.m. in the funeral chapel of Hornbeak Funeral Home of Fulton, with burial to follow at Water Valley Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the service hour.
