Fulton County Transit Authority wants to remind those affected by the storms on Dec. 10 that free rides are still available.

“We understand recovery takes time. Fulton County Transit Authority remains with you as you attempt to put your lives back together,” said Operations Manager Rachel Cook. “Please call us when you need a ride to visit agencies to fill out forms or find out information. Call us when you run low on supplies, and you need transportation to area churches or other facilities providing food and other provisions for you. We will still provide these rides free of charge.”

The only thing FCTA is asking in return is advanced notice of the need for a ride.

“Help us help you by calling us at least 24 hours in advance to schedule these rides,” Cook said. “We are continually ‘going and coming your way’ during this time in your lives.”

Those affected by the storm are urged to talk with a FCTA scheduler by calling 270-472-0662 Extension 2.

FCTA serves Fulton, Hickman, Graves, and Carlisle counties
