AREA OBITUARIES -- Colito Mussolini

Colito Mussolini, 54, of South Fulton, Tenn., passed away Fri., April 15, 2022 at the West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Martin Hospital ER, in Martin, Tenn.

He was born on June 19, 1967 in Union City, Tenn., to Willie Joe Ward, Sr. of Fulton, Ky., and Carolyn Cole Byassee of South Fulton, Tenn.

He was of the Baptist faith and was currently working at MTD in Martin, Tenn., as an assembly worker. He lived all of his life in this area.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Adrian Gunter, of Texas, and Theresa Kruger of Paducah, Ky.; a brother, Joseph Lucas Ward (Darleen), of Walnut Grove, N.C.; a sister, Samantha Verkuilen (Thomas), of South Fulton, Tenn.; and two half-sisters.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lorena Damesworth, Bobby Damesworth, Ezell Cole, Gladys Seaton and George Seaton.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wed., April, 20, 2022 at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of service.
