AREA OBITUARIES -- MARGIE CORUM

Mrs. Margie Whitlock Corum, 93, of South Fulton, Tenn., passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022 at the Clinton-Hickman County ICF in Clinton, Ky.

She was born on August 20, 1928 in Hickman County, Ky., to the late Elmus Jackson Whitlock and Thelma Gardner Whitlock.

Margie was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton and was a self-employed hair dresser. She and her husband Edgar were the owners of Margie and Ed’s Frame Shop.

She is survived by a daughter, Leigh Ann (David) Blurton of Union City, Tenn.; a son, Charles Craig (John Pickens) Corum of Union City, Tenn.; and a grandchild, Annabeth Blurton of Union City, Tenn.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Eugene Corum, to whom she was married to for 51 years, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 21, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton with burial to follow in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Thursday until the hour of service.
