Tourism Commission, Twin Cities’ Chamber hosts ‘Lemonade and Lawn Chairs’ May 14

Fulton Tourism Commission and Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce will join together to coordinate “Lemonade and Lawn Chairs”, May 14.

The Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce member businesses, Vine & Branch, Two Doors Down, Sweet Magnolia Home, all located on Lake Street, downtown Fulton, as well as The Rustic Rooster, located on Broadway (Hwy. 45, Martin Hwy.), in South Fulton, will offer registration from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. that day for a prize basket, with the winner to be announced during the concert planned to begin at 6 p.m. on the Lake Street bandstand.

The winner of the prize basket drawing does not have to be present to win.

At 7 p.m., a drawing will be held for $100 in Chamber Bucks, which may be spent the same as cash, at Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce businesses. The winner must be present to win for this drawing.

Free entertainment, sponsored by the Fulton Tourism Commission, will feature the Lindell Street Blues Band, set to play from the Lake Street bandstand, beginning at 6 p.m.

Those planning to enjoy the concert are asked to bring chairs to set up on Lake Street, a portion of which will be closed to traffic during the concert event.

Throughout the evening, LaCabana and The Keg restaurant, both located on Lake Street, will offer discounts on appetizers and The Meadows will offer discounts on appetizers and Lemon Drop Martinis.
