Nine Arrested During Multi-County Drug Investigations

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office initiated investigations over the past two days that lead to nine arrests in four different Western Kentucky counties and the seizure of large amounts of Crystal Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Fentanyl.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, the Kentucky State Police, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, the Fulton City Police Department, the Hickman County Sheriff’s Office, the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole, Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, the ATF and the DEA.

On 05/04/2022 just after 11:00AM, McCracken County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested fugitive Coreyaunta Rhodes on a traffic stop on Old Mayfield Road on two outstanding warrants. Rhodes was wanted for failing to appear on two underlying felony McCracken County cases for robbery and assault.

On 05/04/2022 just before 1:00PM, McCracken County Sheriff’s detectives and officers with the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole arrested Brandon Elias and Ashley Woolridge after a home search at 6935 Old US Highway 45 in McCracken County. During the search detectives located and seized Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Both Elias and Woolridge were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

On 05/04/2022 McCracken County Sheriff’s Detectives conducted an investigation that revealed that Rodney Freeman was trafficking in Methamphetamine. Freeman was stopped on US Highway 62 during a traffic stop and arrested. During the investigation detectives seized approximately 100 grams of Methamphetamine and $1,000 in suspected drug monies. Detectives worked with Marshall County Sheriff’s Office to obtain a search warrant for Freeman’s residence located on Retirement Circle in Marshall County. During the search warrant service Bradley Riley of Paducah arrived at the residence. Riley was arrested after a search of person revealed a loaded handgun, an approximate one ounce of Methamphetamine, and suspected drug monies.

During the home search, detectives seized additional quantities of Methamphetamine. Freeman was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail and Riley was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center. Both Freeman and Riley have prior felony drug trafficking convictions and were on probation at the time of their new arrests.

On 05/05/2022 just after 8:00AM, detectives executed a search warrant at 6015 Carl E Drive in McCracken County. Caryon Johnson was arrested during the search warrant service. During a search of the residence, detectives located and seized more than a pound of Crystal Methamphetamine, approximately 100 grams of Cocaine, approximately 100+ Fentanyl pills, three vehicles, and approximately $8,500 in US currency believed to be proceeds of illegal drug sales. Johnson has an extensive criminal history that includes convictions for a high-profile murder case in McCracken County in the 90s and at least two prior felony drug trafficking convictions in Kentucky and Tennessee. Johnson was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

On 05/05/2022 just after noon, the Kentucky State Police and deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office obtained and executed a search warrant for a residence on Clarks Ferry Road in Livingston County, KY.

They were assisted by an agent with the ATF during the search warrant service. Jerry Robertson and Michelle Davis were located at the residence. During the search warrant service, troopers and deputies seized approximately two pounds of Methamphetamine and suspected drug monies. Both Robertson and Davis were arrested.

Robertson and Davis both have prior felony drug trafficking convictions. Davis was also arrested on outstanding arrest warrants. Both were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

On 05/05/2022 McCracken and Marshall County Sheriff’s Detectives identified another source of supply for Methamphetamine as Treon A. McElrath in Western Kentucky and Tennessee.

Detectives contacted McElrath and arranged to purchase three pounds of Crystal Methamphetamine from him.

McElrath agreed to meet detectives on the parking lot of liquor store in Fulton County, KY. Several agencies worked together to locate and ultimately arrest McElrath in Fulton, KY on the parking lot of a local business.

McElrath was found in possession of more than three pounds of Methamphetamine. McElrath also has felony convictions for felony manslaughter out of Kentucky.

McElrath was lodged in the Fulton County Detention Center.

In all, law enforcement seized more than 6lbs of Methamphetamine, 100 grams of Cocaine, Fentanyl pills, four vehicles believed to be used to facilitate in illegal drug crimes, and approximately $10,000 in suspected drug monies.

CHARGES: Traff in Cont Sub 1st Degree, 2nd or Greater Off (>or= 2 GMS Methamphetamine)/ Promoting Contraband 1st Degree

ARRESTED: Bradley G. Riley, of Cornell Street (Paducah, KY)

CHARGES: Firearm Enhanced Traff in Cont Sub 1st Degree, 2nd or Greater Off (>or= 2 GMS Methamphetamine)/Possession of a Handgun by Convicted Felon/Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm)/ Firearm Enhanced Possession of Marijuana

CHARGES: Two counts of Failure to Appear out of McCracken County Circuit Court (Underlying charges of Robbery 1st Degree and Assault 2nd Degree)
