Hickman Electric asks customers to voluntarily reduce electrical use during extreme heat conditions

As extreme hot weather temperatures continue TVA has requested that Hickman Electric ask its customers to voluntarily reduce electricity use between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Please cut off any unnecessary lights, postpone any non-essential appliances until after dusk, turn your thermostat up one degree, and use fans to circulate air.
