FIS ‘JumpStarts’ students with back to school events
A number of agencies set up tables and displays at Fulton Independent Schools’ Carr Elementary and Fulton Middle/High School last week, as part of the district’s JumpStart events for incoming students and families.
At FIS Middle/High School’s JumpStart, table displays were provided by Four Rivers Behavioral Health, Fulton DCBS, LivWell of Paducah, Lotus, Riceville Baptist Church.
Others who displayed stations throughout the Commons area included Parkway Church of Christ, Fulton County Extension, Fulton DCBS, Gear Up, Purchase Dictrict Health Department, Fulton County Transit, Mountain Comprehensive Services and Murray State University.
At Carr Elementary’s JumpStart event, those who provided information and goodies to Carr families in attendance included Parkway Church of Christ, Riceville Baptist Church, Purchase District Health Department, Fulton Police Department, Fulton County Transit, Girl Scouts, Lotus, Fulton Independent PTO, Fulton DCBS, First Steps / Four Rivers Behavioral Health, Fulton Independent / Murray Head Start , Passport Health, Humana, Mountain Comprehensive Services and Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
