AREA OBITUARIES - Cristy Lynn Deaton

Cristy Lynn Deaton, 33, of Clinton, Ky., and formerly of Fulton, passed away September 25, 2022 due to injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

She was born on November 7, 1988 in New Albany, Miss., to David Lee Burress of Fulton, Ky. and the late Cathy Wilson Burress.

Cristy was a member of Walnut Grove church and was currently working as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Jackson Purchase - Fulton Clinic. She was an avid hunter and enjoyed riding ATV's. She loved watching her children play baseball and softball.

She is survived by her husband Ronnie Alan Deaton, whom she married January 14, 2015; a son, Clayton Gilliland; and a daughter, Sawyer Grace Deaton, both of Clinton, Ky.; a sister, Gina Renae Stewart of Fulton, Ky.; Aunt and Uncle Billy and Janet Burress of Corinth, Miss.; a nephew, Colton Herring of Fulton, Ky.; and a village of friends and family.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., September 29, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
