AREA OBITUARIES -- MICHAEL JAMES NUNLEY

Mr. Michael James Nunley, age 49, of Fulton, Ky. passed away in Louisville, Ky.

He was born on November 29, 1972 in Columbus, Miss. to the late James Arnold Nunley and Susan Gayle Norman Faulkner of Fulton.

Michael was a member of the Johnson Grove Baptist Church and was a United States Navy veteran where he served in the Persian Gulf during Operation Desert Storm. He had worked for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He came to this area from Mt. Pleasant, Miss. and Memphis, Tenn.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, April Susann Faulkner of Mayfield, Ky., an aunt, Carol Whitehorn of South Fulton, Tenn., two nephews, Donald Howard Poole of Texas and Jaylin Clark Mills of Mayfield, KY, two cousins: Scotty Austill and Melissa Austill both of South Fulton, and a great niece, Charlie

Jean Poole of Wilmington, N.C..

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2022 in the Greenlea Cemetery in Fulton. Hornbeak Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
