AREA OBITUARIES -- HARRY LEE "H.L." WILLIAMSON

Mr. Harry Lee “H.L.” Williamson, 89, of Hickman, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 3,

2022 at the Obion County Nursing Home.

H.L. was born on July 30, 1933 in Hickman, KY to the late Norman and Myrle (Yates) Ayers,

was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy as served as the Chief of the Medic Corpsman, and was of

the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, H.L. is preceded in death by his wife, Billye Jeanne Williamson,

brothers, Morrison Williamson, Swayne Ayers, Dale Ayers, Jerry Ayers, and a sister, Clara

Helton.

He is survived by his son, Paul Duncan of Hickman, KY, several nieces and nephews, and a

special furry friend, Molly.

A graveside service for Mr. H.L. Williamson will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at

1:00 P.M. at the Hickman City Cemetery with Bro. Richard Holloway officiating. Military rites

and burial will follow.

Family and friends are asked to gather at the Hickman City Cemetery prior to service time on

Saturday, November 5, 2022. Strong Funeral Home of Hickman is in charge of arrangements.
