AREA OBITUARIES -- BETHYL MARLENE MARTIN

Ms. Bethyl Marlene Martin, age 76, of South Fulton, TN passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the

Diversicare of Martin.

She was born on August 31, 1946 in Hickman, KY to the late James David Gilliland and Gladys Marie King

Clark.

Bethyl was a member of the First United Methodist Churchi n Fulton, KY and she enjoyed sewing, crafting and quilting. She lived all of her life in this area.

She is survived by two daughters: Beth Matheny Simmons (Ashley) of South Fulton, TN and Amy Matheny Weatherford (Robert) of Wingo, KY, four grandchildren: Brady Lane Simmons and Anna Marie Simmons both of South Fulton, TN, Ethan Lee Weatherford and Blake Matthew Weatherford both of Wingo, KY, three sisters: Sandra Wright of South Fulton, TN, Angela Clark of South Fulton, TN and Janice Glass of Fulton, KY and her partner and soul mate for 16 years, Clyde Sterling of South Fulton, TN.

Funeral services were held at 2 PM Sunday, December 4, 2022 in the funeral chapel of Hornbeak Funeral Home of Fulton and burial followed in the Obion County Memorial Gardens.
