AREA OBITUARIES -- GARY ERWIN

Mr. Gary Howard Erwin, age 88, of Hickman, Ky. passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on September 27, 1934 in Elbridge, Tenn. to the late Willie Milton Erwin and Virginia Inez Mealer Erwin.

Gary was a member of the Fulton Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a United States Army Veteran. He retired from the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company where he worked in Quality Control.

He is survived by two daughters: Gwenda (Richard) Bowman of Hickman, Ky. and Rhonda Wilson of Hickman, Ky., his extended family : Sandy (Butch) Busby of Hickman, Erica Mayes of Hickman, Corey Busby of San Antonio, Texas, Kerrigan Busby and Sloane Busby both of San Antonio, Texas, Grant Wiley, Cullen Wiley, Claire Wiley and Presley Wiley all of Hickman, Ky., a sister: Melba Charlene Tanner and a brother, Robbie Dean Erwin both of Union City, Tenn.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Vonelle Erwin.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Fulton Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (501 Wells Ave., Fulton, Ky. 42041) with burial to follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Fulton Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday,
