FULTON INDEPENDENT BACK-TO-SCHOOL EVENT

Fulton Independent Middle/High School held a back-to-school event Aug. 1 to welcome students and families back with a full day of support, fun and community spirit. School Counselor Mark Paitsel and Principal Heath Cartwright were available to meet with students and parents to discuss class scheduling, vocational programs, dual credit opportunities, and elective options. Also on hand were local vendors and community partners, including Floss & Gloss, Purchase District Health Dept, Purchase AHEC, Merryman House, MSU TRiO Talent Search, West Kentucky Adult Education, Fulton Police Department, Fulton - Hickman Counties ASAP Council, iHOPE, Four Rivers Behavioral Health, Purchase Area Development District, Kentucky Great River Region Organization, Lotus Children’s Advocacy Center, South Fulton Church of the Nazarene, Fulton First United Methodist, Fulton First Baptist Church, Mountain Comprehensive, Fulton/South Fulton Kiwanis Club, First Pentecostal Church of Union City, and Parkway church of Christ.
