SOUTH FULTON COMMUNITY EASTER EGG HUNT MARCH 27

March 27, 2021

The City of South Fulton/South Fulton Parks and Recreation Board's annual Community Easter Egg Hunt was completed just in time to avoid a downpour today, allowing lots of children from birth to age 10 the opportunity to hunt candy filled eggs on the front lawn of the South Fulton Municipal Complex.

The South Fulton Fire Department and Ken-Tenn EMS displayed their emergency equipment and offered special treats to children attending, with Jacksonville Lodge cooking up hotdogs and providing soft drinks and water. South Fulton's Cumberland Presbyterian Church handed out special prizes and candy to children, with the Easter Bunny and the Shriners' caboose making appearances and offering hugs, rides and photo opportunities.

Drawings were held for boys' and girls' prizes in each egg hunt division, with Nai Brown of Mayfield, age 3, having her ticket drawn, as did Julian Sanchez, 3 of Fulton. In the age 4-6 hunt division, Jose Sanchez, 4 of Fulton and Reese Galloway, 5 of South Fulton, had their tickets drawn and won bicycles. In the ages 7-10 hunt division, Kaylee Wireman of Fulton, age 9, and John Campbell, 7, of Sedalia, were the winning ticket holders.
