AREA OBITUARIES -- PHILLIP BRENT WILLIAMS

Mr. Phillip Brent Williams, Sr, age 64, of Union City, Tenn. and formerly of Hickman, Ky. passed away Sun.,

Jan. 7, 2024 at his residence.

He was born on February 11, 1958 in Hickman, Ky. to the late Cecil Williams and Mary Edna Love Williams.

Brent was a retired boat captain for AEP River Operations and lived most of his life in this area. He was an avid St.

Louis Cardinals and University of Kentucky Basketball fan. He loved his dog Sarge and Smokey the cat.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Henderson Williams who he married Aug. 15, 2005, two grandchildren:

Dylan Williams of Lexington, Ky. and Karlie Williams of Hickman, Ky., a daughter-in-law, Merry Williams of

Hickman, Ky., a stepson James Tyler Dunn of Hickman, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Phillip Williams, Jr, a stepson, Justin Dunn, three

brothers: Donnie Williams, Richard Williams and Mickey Williams and a sister, Freida Templeton.

Funeral services for Mr. Phillip Brent Williams, Sr will be held at 1 p.m., Sat., Jan. 13, 2024 at the

Hornbeak Funeral Chapel-Hickman with burial to follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held

at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel-Hickman from 11 a.m. Sat., Jan. 13, 2024 until the hour of service.
