AREA OBITUARIES -- SCOTT SHIPLEY

Scott Shipley, age 61, of Hickman, Ky. passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at his residence.

He was born on March 25, 1963 in Noble, AR to the late James Shipley and Martha Asher Shipley.

Scott was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton and was a Cooker/Trainer at Jackson Purchase Distillery in Hickman, Ky. and had previously worked for the Fulton Housing Authority for several years.

He is survived by his fiance' Rebecca Caudill, his children: Angela (Steven) Munoz of San Antonio, Texas, Adam Shipley of Louisville, Ky., Timothy Shipley of Paducah, Ky., JC "Jeremiah" (Ashley) Shipley of Joppa, Illinois, Gary (Laken) Foster of Clarksville, Tenn. and Joanne (Brandon) Baldwin of Troy, Tenn., his grandchildren: Jaxton and

Ady Munoz both of San Antonio, Texas, Matthew Shipley of Paducah, Ky., Addi Hutchison of Joppa, Illinois, Lukas Shipley of Joppa, Illinois, Cole Foster of Clarksville, Tenn., Teagan Baldwin, Caylea Bixler and Aiden Tate all

of Troy, Tenn., his siblings: Judy Jones of Illinois, Darrell (Debbie) Shipley of Illinois, Iva Cohoon of Illinois and Ginger Carter of Alabama.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: James Shipley, Jr. and Robert Shipley.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Hickman. Visitation will be held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Hickman from 12 noon on Friday April 5, 2024 until the hour of service. Hornbeak Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
