AREA OBITUARIES – Ronald Burcham

Ronald Burcham, age 79, of South Fulton, Tenn., passed away Sat., April 20, 2024, at the AHC Union City.

He was born on April 25, 1944, in East St. Louis, Ill. to the late Ardell Burcham and Katherine Collins Burcham.

Ronald was a member of the Riceville Baptist Church and retired after 33 years from the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Union City, Tenn.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Sweatt Burcham, whom he married May 6, 1964; a son, Larry (Ginger) Burcham, of South Fulton; a daughter, Katherine Burcham, of South Fulton; his grandchildren, Kylee and Brooke Burcham, of South Fulton, and Alexa (Craig) Fox, of Greenfield, Tenn.; and a brother, Kenneth (Dotty) Burcham, of South Fulton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Bye; and a sister, Mary Katherine Burcham Yates.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wed., April 24, 2024 at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of service.
