Kiwanis Club recognizes achievements of students, educators, service partners

Local students, educators and community partners were recently honored at the Kiwanis Club of the Twin Cities Ken-Tenn’s annual Student of the Year reception.

Speaker for the event was Austin Norton.

Olivia Fulcher and Addison Stubblefield, members of the Fulton Independent High School and South Fulton High School Class of 2024, respectively, were announced as the recipient of the Kiwanis Student of the Year award, and received each received a scholarship in the amount of $1,500.

Brandi Cantrell was awarded Teacher of the Year from South Fulton Middle/High School and Rebecca Copeland was awarded Teacher of the Year from Fulton Independent School District.

Anna and Chris Powell were the recipient of the Kiwanis Community Partners award, representing the Twin Cities Youth League, TCY.
