AREA OBITUARIES -- BRENT INGRUM

Mr. Brent Ingrum, age 70, of South Fulton, Tenn. passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at the Baptist Health in Paducah.

He was born on May 30, 1954 in Fulton, Ky. to the late Jake and Guynell Clark Ingrum.

Brent worked for the former Illinois Central Gulf and retired after 41 years (1974-2015) from the CN Railroad as an Engineer.

He was an avid New York Yankees and University of Kentucky Basketball fan. He also loved 70's Rock music and has been known to play a mean air guitar.

He is survived by a daughter, Leslie (Billy) Thornhill of Smyrna, Tenn., a granddaughter Avery Boaz of Smyrna, Tenn., a sister Melba (Larry) Turner of Water Valley, Ky., a nephew, Dustin Turner and a great-niece, Hayden Turner both of Paducah, Ky.

Funeral services for Mr. Brent Ingrum will be held at 11AM Wednesday, July 31, 2024 in the Hornbeak Funeral Home funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Water Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 30 and after 9 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of service.
