The Fulton Independent School Board invites the public to attend the upcoming Board of Education meeting on Feb. 18 at 5:30 p.m.,  at the board office, to review a proposal from Ascendant Facility Partners.
This proposal outlines a guaranteed energy savings project designed to enhance the district’s facilities. The project includes critical upgrades such as repairing or replacing HVAC systems, roofs, windows, doors, lighting, and kitchen facilities, as well as the addition of solar panels.
The majority of these improvements will be funded through energy cost savings, with additional support from bonding restricted funds allocated for building projects.
To further engage with the community, a public walkthrough of Carr Elementary is scheduled for Feb. 19 at 3:30 p.m.
This walkthrough will provide an opportunity to observe firsthand the areas in need of these upgrades and highlight the importance of this initiative.
“We are eager to share this proposal with the community as part of our ongoing commitment to creating the best possible learning environment for our students. For any questions, please contact the Board Office,” said Fulton Independent School District Superintendent Terry Sullivan.
